The Obama campaign insists, as did this blog, that the Dittoheads gave Hillary the election in Indiana. The numbers don't lie. Today, the argument from the talking heads is that the Republicans that voted for Hillary did so because they truly wanted to vote for her, and not because Rush Limbaugh told them to do so. This is like saying the sky is red, the Missouri Tigers are good at basketball, George W. Bush has a stellar foreign policy, or that Jon Stewart isn't funny.
Why would a Republican go out of their way to vote for Hillary?? If there is a Republican out there, in Indiana or otherwise, who was truly so inspired by her that they were compelled to go and vote in a Democratic primary, I want to hear from you. I can't even imagine this. I ran into a lot of Republicans crossing over to vote for Obama at our Kansas caucus site, but I didn't run into any Republicans crossing over to vote for Hillary. Kansas was before Operation Chaos really took hold. Now, pundits would have us believe, Republicans are suddenly inspired by Hillary?
Like I said. If you're out there, let me know. I'll expect to hear from Santa Claus next.
