Stupid Husbands

I don’t know who gets the biggest trophy for biggest jerk of the year: Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina or John Edwards.

The latest on Edwards is just gross. Andrew Young, the former aide who took the responsibility for the paternity of Edwards’ mistress’s baby, now says it’s not his baby. It’s John’s. And that’s not even the worst part. Young “accidentally” stumbled upon a sex tape of Edwards and his mistress. Yuck. You can read more HERE.

Then there’s Sanford. We all know now that he’s accused of using South Carolina tax payer money to fly to Argentina to meet with his mistress. Kind of makes you wonder why he didn’t want to take the stimulus money. The whole idea of “stimulus” money must’ve appealed to him on some level. He’s an idiot. His wife is hysterical, though. They aught to take Jon and Kate’s reality show and give it to her.

Speaking of affairs, the very devout, Mormon Governor of Utah, Jon Huntsman, is not having an affair, despite David Gregory’s assertion. (Yes, Gregory apologized, but still owes us a bigger apology for campaigning for the job moderating Meet the Press in the first place.)

And in a totally unrelated comment, I love John Boehner. I don’t agree with him politically on anything, but he doesn’t pull any punches and it’s not hidden in partisan rhetoric. He decided to read parts of the new climate bill on the House floor after it had passed. When asked why by The Hill he said, “Hey, people deserve to know what’s in this pile of shit.”

Anyone Still There?

So it’s been awhile. Not only did I have a new baby, but our firm’s long time client, Dr. George Tiller, was brutally murdered while ushering in his church. It’s made everything seem so petty so I had no desire to write. Now, however, I think it’s time to get back on the horse.
