Obama as Kobe
Kobe Bryant wasn’t always Kobe Bryant. (Stating the obvious. I’m good at it.) Kobe Bryant was a superstar when he walked onto the court as an 18-year-old NBA rookie but that doesn’t mean he was the player who would win all those championships. I remember so vividly the FOUR airballs he shot in a 1997 playoff game against the Utah Jazz. The first airball came at the end of regulation and would’ve won the game for the Lakers.... Mob Rule: The Scott Roeder Defense
Update: A jury found Scott Roeder guilty of First Degree Murder. The rule of law prevails. I was one of Dr. Tiller’s attorneys as was my father and my sister. The day Dr. Tiller was found not guilty was one of the scariest days of my life. Until the day he was shot and killed. On both days I feared for the lives of my loved ones and myself because I knew “they” would not follow the rule of law. “They” would only... [Read More...]
New Study Shows Coakley How She Could’ve Won, People how to breathe and the sky how to be blue
Martha Coakley (pronounced “Coakley” like Seinfeld says “Newman”) is the Democratically disgraced Massachusetts Attorney General who lost the “Kennedy” Senate seat to centerfold star Scott “here are my daughters” Brown. There has been much hand wringing and crying by the Democrats trying to figure out why she lost. (Jon Stewart has it figured out). Now, to help clarify, a study compiled by the AFL-CIO... Gross New Senator Offers Daughters to Public
I am firmly convinced that somehow we have all begun to live in Bizarro World. My proof? First, The “Kennedy” seat in Massachusetts has gone to this guy: Second? I agree with Glenn Beck. Yes, I just vomited a bit. Beck says of Brown offering his daughters up as “available” to “any one out there in the country watching” – I want a chastity belt on this man. I want his every move watched in Washington.... [Read More...]

Interviewing Terrorists
Why do reporters insist on interviewing terrorists in order to convey a “balanced” viewpoint? CNN is up today with a story about an abortion law in Oklahoma that would put specifics about each woman who has an abortion online. They quote the Center for Reproductive Rights and the legislator who drafted the bill. So far so good. But then they throw in a quote from Operation Rescue “President” Troy Newman. And now we’re... One Million Reasons to Hate Lieberman aka Fredo
MoveOn.org has raised nearly a million dollars in a campaign against Joe Lieberman. In an e-mail to supporters, Move On asked them to donate money to campaign against Joe Lieberman because of his fight against Obama’s Health Care bill. In nearly 48 hours they’ve raised almost $1,000,000. In an e-mail to supporters Move On says: Wow! We’re only $75,000 short of raising $1 million to hold Joe Lieberman accountable for gutting health... [Read More...]
Community Ballet
Living in Wichita I have sat through my fair share of community theater, some of it good, some not so good, some down right bad, some just awful. Now, I can say that I have sat through community ballet, a local production of the Nutcracker. Not so good. My husband (33) and two children (3 and 8 months) managed to fall asleep before the Nutcracker showed up and after the Sugar Plum Fairy did her thing. Essentially, they saw a bunch of children... Alas, poor Roy! We knew him well…
Poor Roy. Some dude in a collared shirt yells, “Hey, don’t miss it!” at a Tar Heel shooting a free throw and Roy goes apoplectic and has the fan tossed from the Smith Center? Here’s my Christmas take on the situation: Every Heel down in Royville liked the Smith Center a lot, but Roy, who lived just north of Chapel Hill – did not. Roy hated the Smith Center – the whole basketball season. Now, please don’t... [Read More...]
